Fort Worth Teaching Fellows (FWTF) – is a highly selective alternative certification program dedicated to bringing high-achieving individuals into the ’s most high-need schools and subject areas. Our hands-on pre-service training includes practice teaching in a summer school classroom and gives our Fellows the resources they need to be effective in the classroom from day one. Fellows are further supported by relevant, ongoing training throughout the school year. Fellows earn their certification – and a full salary – during their first year of teaching, and are eligible for a standard teaching certificate by the end of the school year.
